Tyla Smith,
Instructor
Hi everyone!
My name is Tyla Smith, and I’m beyond excited to be teaching your little ones this upcoming spring! Dance has always been a huge part of my life, and I feel incredibly blessed to share my passion with others. I started dancing at the age of 4 and have trained in ballet, hip-hop, jazz, and modern dance. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to perform in movies, music videos, and even spent 3 amazing years dancing for the Dallas Cowboys!
I’ve been fortunate to train with incredible choreographers, including the talented Amari Monster, creative director for Beyoncé’s tour, who has mentored me for the past 3 years. I can’t wait to pass along the knowledge, skills, and passion I’ve gained through these experiences to your children!
In my classes, I strive to make every lesson fun, engaging, and full of opportunities for the students to express their creativity. I love letting them choose the songs and really get involved in the process! Your kids are in great hands—I’m CPR certified and have worked with children for nearly 4 years.
I’m looking forward to meeting all of you and having an amazing season together! See you soon!
